 Apex
Mountain Resort is a cozy village nestled at the base of a spectacular
mountain. Regarded as some of the best skiing in North America,
Apex boasts dry Okanagan powder, short lift lines and uncrowded
slopes.
In under six minutes, the high-speed quad chairlift takes you
to the top of the mountain. From there, you can access 1,112
acres of magnificent fall-line skiing and snowboarding.
While Apex has more than its share of challenges for expert
skiers, with 67 runs, the area also offers beginner and intermediate
skiers an inspirational experience on gentle rolling cruisers,
groomed to perfection. Guests will love the Snow Sport and Adventure
Centre, an innovative service, which incorporates the Ski and
Snowboard School and the Rippin Rascals Kid's Club and is the
central reservations point for all resort activities.
Apex is famous for quality and comfort. The resort is intimate
and cozy. A village with everything you need all within a snowball's
throw. With a variety of restaurants, there is ample choice
for relaxing with your morning coffee to fine dining. Where
else can you find virtually all accommodations featuring ski-in/ski-out
access? Whether it's in a cabin, condo, hostel, hotel, or bed

Apex
Mountain Resort is located 240 miles (405 km) east of Vancouver
(4-1/2 hours), and 21 miles (33 km) west of Penticton in the
Okanagan Valley. From Vancouver, take the Trans-Canada Highway
1 to the Coquihalla Highway, then Highway 97 to Penticton. Follow
the Green Mountain Road for approximately 1 hour to Apex Village.
There is a regularly scheduled air service from Vancouver, Calgary,
Toronto and Seattle: Air Canada, Pacific Coastal Airlines, West
Jet and Horizon Air. Airport transfers and car rental packages
provide several options for ground transportation between airports
and the resort. |
